Transitional housing for the most vulnerable in Colorado Springs.

We house some of our city’s most vulnerable residents,

supporting them on their journey from homelessness toward stability and growth. Ithaka has supported low-income residents in Colorado Springs since 1981 and we currently serve about 80 residents across our properties. We provide supportive transitional housing for families, single men, and seniors as they determine their own path toward the future.

Families

Our Family Program provides the safety, stability, and support needed for families in homelessness or facing crisis to move toward growth and self-sufficiency.

MEN

Our Men’s Program provides a first step for single men looking to exit homelessness or incarceration, offering a supportive community to help people rebuild their lives.

Seniors

Our Senior Program connects vulnerable older adults to resources and support they need to improve their quality of life and find their preferred housing for the future.

Stories

“Thanks to being at Ithaka, I was able to maintain my sobriety and get the proper treatment that I needed. Thanks again for being such a positive support group. You really made me feel welcome.”

Former Resident

“After losing my job and apartment due to bad health, Ithaka accepted my application and placed me in an apartment. Their awesome support enabled me to receive the proper medical care, get my Master Gardener’s Certificate, find a gardening job, and – through their financial program – become debt free. Thanks to Ithaka, my future is bright.”
